Mary Connealy has published over 15 novels. She was looking for a fresh take on her current website. I redesigned her site from the ground up with a focus on ease of navigation. I made her book titles readily accessible with a horizontal scroll, and linked the titles to multiple booksellers with a tidy dropdown menu. I also gave her site a unique western feel with custom graphics to further reflect her target market.

West Dodge Neurological Clinic specializes exclusively in EMG testing. This is an exam that determines injury to the muscles and surrounding nerves. Since many of the patients are apprehensive of the test (it is falsely perceived as painful), I included a video demonstrating the exam. The patients are often late to their appointments stating that the clinic is difficult to find. I included an interactive map with printable driving directions. I also gave the site a flash header to add interest while still maintaining professionalism.

Butterfly Bakery makes gourmet cakes and pastries with a focus on creative custom designs. Owner Linda Hudson wanted to showcase her work in a way that reflects its quality. Furthermore, she wanted the site to complement her existing marketing plan which is based on the grunge aesthetic. I designed a clean, compact site with a rotating slideshow and sliding menus.
I also retouched her photos to insure optimal color and presentation.

Early Childhood Center (ECC) offers montessori style day programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. They are the first certified Nature Explore Classroom in the Omaha area. Since ECC is a Christian outreach in its first year of buisness, I wanted the staff to be largely in control of maintaining the site.
I included a flikr photo slideshow that requires zero HTML knowledge to update. I also setup a wordpress blog which uses push-button publishing for an easy online conversation and newsfeed.

of western romance. She was seeking a website that was easy to navigate and tied into the themes of her novels. I organized her content into a heiarchy of information with smooth and intutive navigation. I also linked to her social networking sites so readers can communicate with her in more ways than one.

Justin VanBeek is a personal trainer in Omaha, NE. Along with helping individuals meet their fitness goals, he also trains atheletic teams at University of Nebraska at Omaha. Justin was looking to reach new clients and have a way for them to find him. I designed a site with a built in Wordpress that he can update regularly with class schedules and fitness tips. Having an industry related blog will increase traffic to his website along with raising his search engine ranking.
